Spread – 6 to 12 inches
Root Depth – 18 to 36 inches, but the taproot can grow to 5 feet
Hardiness – Hardy, can tolerate light frost
Exposure – Partial Shade, needs 5 hours of sun per day

Depth – 1/4 to 1/2 inch

  In Row – Spacing between plants within row in inches
  Between Rows – Spacing between rows in inches
Intensive Spacing – 4 per square foot

Direct Seed – Better for fall planting
  Spring – From 4 weeks prior to last expected frost to 3 weeks after last expected frost

Transplant – Transplants are more likely to bolt and are better for spring planting
