8/14/2013 – 9th of Late Summer

  1. Finally a dry day with nothing else going on. Ended up having to mow the garden rather then weed.
  2. Picked more Mandan Bride corn. Most of it is either rotted or sprouting, but some survived.
  3. Other plants seem to be doing good. Noticed pods on the White Runner beans. And the sweet potatoes have started to flower.
  4. Thinking that the peas and peanuts could be planted at three sub-rows (one foot apart). That or the peas could be on the outer rows with potatoes on the middle row. Still debating about whether the cowpeas should be spaced the same.
