7/5/12 – 2nd day of Middle Summer

I started to really harvest tomatoes today. Almost filled the bag with them alone. Only getting romas though. There are quite a few cherry tomatoes getting ready to ripen, but no amish paste. I think the potatoes have gotten blight, so I am trying to get them dug as quickly as possible. Only get 4 or 5 spuds per plant, but that is better than none. The corn is having a difficult time with no rain. Probably be doing good just to get enough for seed next year. Mated Chief should be done soon. Mandan bride just finished tasseling. Reid’s dent hasn’t started yet. Forgot to look at how the sweet potatoes and okra are doing.
